• i. Often seen in VHL; may be difficult to distinguish hemagioblastoma from metastatic renal cell carcinoma
• ii. Renal cell carcinoma may be confirmed by imaging the kidneys and is generally immunoreactive for cytokeratins and epithelial membrane antigen
